Job Profile
To provide financial accounting support to the Senior Management in Group IT Australia and India. The role is expected to ensure financial accounting complies with local and international accounting standards, and Australian taxation requirements.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Financial Performance Reporting, Management & Analysis
- Monthly analysis of suppliers and unpaid invoices and processing vendor payments/ employees payment
- Download and analyse trend analysis and investigate any unusual movements in vendor accounts.
- Checking Service provider resources billing and timesheet
- Preparation and posting of journal entries.
- Prepare and analyse actuals against budget.
- Prepare the monthly balance sheet reconciliation in accordance with internal control requirements
- Perform and file returns for GST / Withholding taxes
- Schedule preparation for Statutory / Tax audits and liaison with auditors
- Respond to any ad-hoc queries from employees
- Stakeholder Management
- Develop strong relationships with senior management to embed financial analysis and decision support within all areas of the business.
- Business Improvement Support
- Provide financial support in identification, shaping and improving financial processes.

Skills essential to the Job
- Oracle/ Unibis experience is strongly preferred
- IT Finance; Strong written and verbal communication skills (including the English language);

Education Qualifications
Qualifications Required
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Business, IT, Economics, or a related discipline
Professional
CPA/CA/ CA inter
Experience Required
2-5 years in a Finance role, and preferably with some experience in an IT/ CA firm / Audit firms
