Job Responsibilities

• Staff Accountants who manage month close in general. 
• Pass journal entries that follow a specified and clear process guide and assist with preparation and maintenance of other journal entries, E&O files, Warranty files, and other research related accounting tasks.

Education Qualification

Graduates Or CA/CWA Inter

Experience

• Graduates - Accounting experience of 5-10 years.
• CA/CWA Inter - Accounting experience of 5 years of experience.

Other Requirements

• Work in the Group ERP System to perform: (a) Month close activities as defined (b) Reconcile accounts in multiple entities
• Communicate weekly (written and verbal) with Accounting management based in the US [workflows, feedback, roadblocks, etc].
• Support other processes and projects around month-end to ensure timely financial close deadlines are met.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong Communication skills (excellent written and spoken English)
• Experience working in a top tier ERP system (e.g. Oracle )
• Strong GL reconciliation experience
• Good understanding of US GAAP or IFRS preferred.
• MNC experience, specifically undertaking to account for a non-India division/entity and including reporting to an international finance team (the US preferred).
• Strong Excel skills
• Analytical and problem-solving skills a must
• Ability to work independently with minimal instruction
• Flexible work hours

Job Location: India - Chennai

Working hours 2-10 PM shift
